Matthew Flack: A Nightmare Experience - Beware of Scams and Unhygienic Conditions I had the misfortune of booking a stay at this hotel at Riviera Premium in Salvador, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. I would give it zero stars if I could. My experience with this establishment was nothing short of a scam, and I feel compelled to warn fellow travelers. First and foremost, the hotel engaged in a shameful practice of canceling reservations on the very same day of check-in. This seemed to be a deliberate strategy to charge unsuspecting guests exorbitant prices, often double or even triple the originally agreed upon amount. It's an appalling display of dishonesty and a blatant attempt to exploit travelers who have already committed to staying. On top of this unethical behavior, the overall hygiene and cleanliness standards at the hotel were shockingly subpar. To my disbelief, the bed in my room didn't even have sheets. Yes, you read that correctly – no sheets! I was left to sleep directly on the bare mattress, which is not only uncomfortable but also a clear violation of basic hospitality standards. It's beyond comprehension that a hotel would neglect such a fundamental aspect of guest comfort and well-being. The lack of sheets was not an isolated incident either; it seemed to be a pervasive issue throughout the establishment. It raises serious concerns about the hotel's commitment to basic cleanliness and guest satisfaction. It's disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for the most basic requirements of a reputable accommodation. In summary, my stay at the Riviera Premium in Salvador was an absolute nightmare. From their deceptive reservation practices to the shocking absence of sheets, it's clear that this establishment is more interested in making a quick buck than providing a decent and honest service. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to think twice and explore more trustworthy and reputable options in the area. Save yourself the hassle, disappointment, and potential financial loss by avoiding this hotel at all costs.

Ross McCall: Horrendous. Cancelled our reservation a few days before we were set to arrive and then doubled the reservation price. The only bedding was two flat sheets (I’m not kidding). Two pitiful pillows that they wanted to charge you extra for more. Didn’t have hot water for half our stay. Literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Jonathon Davey: Exceptionally good as always. Superb breakfast, friendly and efficient staff, and there is a rooftop pool as a bonus. Great brand through and through. Would recommend 120%. A Value choice. 👍

Shida M: Decent hotel and the staff were friendly however the room was completely disgusting. We had to immediately leave. We called their customer service line to request a refund they said to speak directly with the manager. Said manager tells us to send an email. So only God knows when and how I'll get my money back! Issue 1: We found blood specs on our sheets. I can't even begin to describe how disturbed that makes me. Issue 2: Someone smeared human feces on several parts of the wall in the washroom. The mirror had white specs all over it presumably from someone brushing their teeth. There was black mould along the bottom of the shower. Issue 3: Finding items from previous guests means the room was not properly cleaned before our arrival. During a pandemic it's absolutely reckless to do something like this. Please avoid this hotel at any cost. They don't care about your health and safety.

Julia M: Decent hotel and nice breakfast. The room was clean. The front desk and breakfast staff were all very friendly. Everything was alright except for the thing (I assume it was a rat) that seemed to be living in the hallway ceiling. As soon as the sun started to set you could hear it running around and you could see the ceiling panels in the hallway moving.
