Michaela Champion: Don’t look no further since this will be the best place to stay while you are in Salvador. From the second we’ve arrived we’ve felt like home. The owner and the entire staff are absolutely amazing. We loved the private rooms which offer a fantastic sea view. Not to mention the breakfast which was outstanding. Thanks again to the hotel for being so cooperative when our plans changed. 100% recommended!!!

Michael: Private rooms are really nice but dorms not. There is no window, lights are not good either and you cannot get some ‘fresh’ air from the hallway because otherwise the ac stops automatically. For that price its just not worth it, but thats why there was only a volunteer and me staying in the hostel. Breakfast and employees are nice tho

Elliot Lindsay: A fantastic hotel! The owner is a fantastic man who is happy to have a nice chat and share local advice and knowledge (he speaks English, French, Portuguese and I think German). The staff are really helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. The location is superb, could not pick a better location i Rio Vermelho (a friend recommended Rio Vermelho and I was so happy I stayed there). I strongly recommend you spend a little more and book the ocean view room, it has perhaps the best view in Salvador!! The photo below was taken from the private balcony connectes to my room.

ritonsurin surin: Owner and staff very friendly, very nice apartments well equipped with sea view. One of the best location in Rio Vermelho. I already booked an apartment for my next stay in October.
