Arthur Floch: Really bad experience! The guy at the entrance is special. He talks a lot for nothing. They don’t take credit card. After giving him money, he didn’t have enough to give me back and forced me to cancel. He basically kicked me out of the property at night!

tarn: I stayed here in December 2024. The hostel is small (just one room) but the room is spacious with nice decor, furniture and seating. The courtyard is a also a nice place to relax and plan or unwind from a day wondering around Salvador… Davi who runs the place is very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. There is no kitchen unfortunately but all things considered it is good value and close to the historic centre.

William Koch: Terrible lack of service: rooms and mattresses that looked like Jesus, dirty, noisy and bright at 5:30 in the morning. Although the manager was friendly, he did the same thing upon arrival. Having no privacy and having the entire room in a very quiet location, I asked to be able to carry my bag during the tour because I was leaving early in the morning and did not want to see the entire room without doing a tour at 6:00 in the morning. Please read the summary terms and conditions before your stay.

Fergal O'Connor: On hostelworld it claims to have a 24 hour reception. I was stuck outside waiting for 2 hours to get in with all of my luggage from 6-8am. The host was super rude once I got in, and kept telling me to come back at check in time. This is the first time I’ve not been able to check in early and store my luggage (had to pay “a lot” of money to store luggage), so I cancelled. Avoid. He even said the 24 hour reception means after you check in, the reception is open 24 hours which makes no sense - please specify your hours of service rather than leaving travellers stranded on the streets with all their valuables.

Samira Gutmann: We had the worst experience with his hostel. We made a reservation on HostelWorld and when we wanted to check-in the guy at the reception who apparently also is the owner said that we can‘t because he‘s dog is sick. When we were arguing he said he‘d call the police if we don‘t leave. There were nearly no free hostels anymore cause there was a festival in Salvador and he didn‘t care at all. It was a very very bad vibe and atmosphere. Wouldn‘t recommend this hostel at all. Also heard bad things about it from other travelers.
