Kia Orion: Incredible. Some of the best middle eastern food I’ve had in a long time. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS i.e The portions are huge, ha. Walked in on a Wednesday and got a table immediately. Our waitress Antonia was fantastic. Was patient even though I speak terrible Portuguese 😁 We ordered the shawarma platter, fatoush salad and stuffed grape leaves. Extra hummus. All was excellent. Price was right too. Highly highly recommend. Will absolutely be back. Keep up the great work y’all, thanks for a great experience 👌
Shahab Khan: Happened upon this place by luck and were we lucky! HUUUGE portions for the money. Excellent yummy food. Courteous friendly service despite language barrier. Could not finish food. Nice casual atmosphere and busy on a Monday night. Don’t know by Brazil standards but prices were much cheaper than home for what we got. Kunafa could have been better but other than that I wish I had extra stomachs.
Jane Mathias: Fabulous unassuming lebanese restaurant in Rio. Stopped by for dinner and we were promptly seated. We ordered their lamb with arabic spices and chicken shawarma plate. Both the dishes were fantastic and the portions were hugggge. I highly recommend sharing here. The hummus was fresh and delicious. The meat both lamb and chicken well marinated and seasoned absorbed all flavors and cooked to perfection. There was not an item on our platter that we dint enjoy. The service was fast and food was delish. What else can you ask for. Highly recommend to satisfy your authentic lebanese food cravings in Rio.
PragmaticCritter TM: Best middle eastern food restaurant. Very good taste, very welcoming staff and the cherry on top of the cake is that chicken is Halal! I recommend (especially the fattoush salad and the chicken shish taouk!!)
Scott Hall: Hands down the BEST veggie grape leaves I have ever jammed in my mouth! I got a half order expecting them to be the typical half rice filled leaf drenched in lemon juice, but no they were quite the opposite. First off they are served warm, I’ve only had cold ones, secondly they were packed with finely diced seasoned veggies and rice. I also got the falafel. Once again expecting sandy dry balls, but these were not that. I’ve always gone by if the inside of the falafel is green or has a green tint, that’s the one you want. These are tan/brown and are so freakin flavorful. I am legit still full from lunch and am considering walking back there for dinner.
