Aaron Kohen: Happened upon a performance in the outdoor space, Carimbo dos Altos, which was a magnificent presentation of an indigenous story from the Amazon region (all in Portugese), so I did my best to understand it!! Then I ventured into the museum which is truly remarkable. The artwork in clay and wood is so compelling, earnest, and beautiful. It is very well presented, with English options via a QR code. The gentlemen at the store entertained my basic Portugese and spoke with me for about 20 minutes, telling me more about the museum, the artists, music and some instruments. I bought a few pieces of art to take with me and wish that I had more time there. I wouldn't miss this museum if I were you!!

Mario De Leo: The guided tour is innovative in the sense that the tour guides sing to you in different Brazilian rhythms. The exhibition space is small but beautifully done. Some pieces are extraordinary, especially the moving ones.
