Laura Colored: The place was packed so the service was a but slow at times, but you go there for the vibe so you just have to be a bit patient. The caipirinhas were top!

Jan Schymanski: The team here is amazing. We were generously taken care of by Philip and Leon amongst the others and security. Philip always made us feel like we were right back home, spoke perfect English and provided amazing service. The food was amazing, we went back a few times during our time on the island. The diavola pizza was amazing, the bacon burger was amazing, the fries were crispy. The cheese fries weren’t our favourite but everything else made up for it. Price was roughly $30-$50 CAD and that is with drinks and water. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Mark Thorpe: Bar do Che – A Kafkaesque pint Thinking of grabbing a beer at Do Che? Pack a lunch and bring a map. You approach the bar and naturally assume you can buy a frosty beverage. Silly you. First, you’ll be directed to a different bar where you will spot a fridge—ice-cold beers just sitting there, taunting you. But wait! You can’t actually buy a beer there. No, no. That would be far too simple. Instead, you’re sent on a magical adventure to the original bar upon entering, where you must obtain… a ticket. Only then may you return to the beer bar and, if the stars align, be granted access to the very beer you originally pointed at. It’s less a night out, more a side quest. So off I went. Heroically. Only to arrive at the ticket counter… with no one there. Not a soul in sight. I waited. And waited. Five minutes passed. Five more hopeful customers appeared, equally confused. We all stood there, staring into the void, wondering where the keeper of the sacred tickets had gone. Eventually, I gave up. Shame, really. The staff I did encounter were friendly and smiling. But the genius who invented this bureaucratic obstacle course was nowhere to be found—probably off designing a three-step process to order water. So I left. For literally anywhere else in Brazil. Where, you know, you can just buy a beer. Ah, Bar do Che. Where buying a beer is less a transaction and more a Kafkaesque nightmare. Cheers, and good luck, brave traveler.

Lindsay Ellis: Really sad to see this place has so many low score reviews - I came here with friends for lunch and had the most delicious vegan pizza, which was made even better by the gorgeous setting right by the ocean! Lunch and a great view - what more could you ask for?

Gültekin Temtek: Really really the best place for digital nomads for eat & work or rest. Also tasty foods and amazing views. Just waiters long time can not see you but it’s maybe we visited in low season. Overall perfect!
