Jose Silva: Overall is ok to take the kids,around 30euro per person but be aware if you are foreign because our international cards work in "credit option not debit" which in this aquarium is not acceptable,so be aware and buy tickets online or take money with you.

Spela G: The aquarium is great. You follow a path through, going bast freshwater displays, ocean, then Africa, Australia and the arctic. Our highlight was the Mermaid show (a hit for our 5yo) - 20Rs for c 15 mins, well worth it. It's right at the end by the polar bears. Our one issue (we're from the UK) was getting the ticket. The website didn't work for us, even when we ended up trying from the aquarium with helpful staff - seems to need a local number. At the same time, on site ticket only take local debit cards and cash. So it took us a while to be able to buy ticket (a manager convincing ticket staff to let us use our foreign payment card). Please aquarium, make the experience for visitors outside Brazil easier! Other than that, we really enjoyed. The actual aquarium is fab.

Yasha Marcelino: Incredible. Totally worth it. But if you’re coming from another country bring cash at least for entrance cuz they don’t accept credit card but totally worth it. It was 150 reais ($30).

Rodrigo Ludscher: We had such a great time at the Aquário de São Paulo! I went with my sister and my one-year-old nephew, and it was a fantastic experience for all of us. The aquarium is much bigger than we expected, with a wide variety of animals — from colorful fish and sharks to penguins, kangaroos, and even polar bears! Everything is well organized, clean, and easy to navigate, even with a stroller. The themed areas are super creative and immersive, and there’s always something new and exciting around each corner. My nephew was completely mesmerized the whole time, and honestly, so were we! It’s the perfect place for a family outing — fun, educational, and full of surprises. Highly recommended!
