Márcia Naomi Fujiwara: Good and cozy place. There are seats outside the movie rooms, a restaurant, a cafe, a movie store and restrooms. The seats are not pre-defined, so you need to stay in line before the movie to get a good seat.

Maria McCabe: Great theater! Concession stand for buying popcorn, bottled drinks and water, small candy selection and tickets. Movie screens very big! Great bookstore bistro and a cafe too!

Danielo D2: Best cinema in São Paulo for alternative cinema, European and others. There are always Brazilian movies you probably won't see in a big screen of certain cinema chains anywhere else. The movies change constantly, there's always the newest releases and that's something you can count on them. In terms of location, you couldn't ask for a better one, in the middle of Paulista Avenue, nearby metrô station (green line) and plenty of places to go after the movie to discuss it. There's a book shop and a cafe/restaurant inside with a large window to the avenue, so you can get some natural light even though you're bellow street level and it's lovely just to seat there with a coffee, perhaps a book and watch people simply pass by. I've been going there for longer than I can remember and I plan to keep doing so.

Arthur Lobão: Nice, cozy, alternative movie cinema. Probably the best in town for catching the new Goddard or Polanski. Has a pretty snack place inside, but is prohibitively expensive for what they offer. Movie tickets are affordable. If you are planning to catch a movie during "prime time", try to buy online, to avoid lines. Enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.
