Paul Davis: Lovely shaded park full of trees, although the buildings and the park in general have a shabby kind of feel. And for some inexplicable reason it is the home to hundreds of chickens, ducks and turkeys which generate a powerful stink which permeates the whole park and the peace is disturbed by their constant crowing. My suggestion - send all these birds to a farm.
Chris Simon: A wonderful park with various wildlife including chickens, peacocks, horses, and a few stray cats in a beautiful, green setting. A great place for picnics. A beautiful arboretum showcasing native Brazilian trees. Normally there are many food vendors as well. Currently, due to Covid, options are limited to simple items such as ice cream and água de coco. Throughout the year it serves as a venue for concerts and festivals. Perfect for families with children.
Antoine Assaad: This is my favorite parque in Sao Paolo. It combines animals, trees, views, arts, and nature at its best. Great Job for those who transformed this place. A must go place!
Cultured Life Foods: This is a nice little park. Not quite sure what's going on here with all the chickens & birds, but we enjoy it. It's really nice to be able to come and visit the birds and animals in a really beautiful setting. We hope they keep the chickens around! This park was recently sold by the city to a private owner and we are unsure what the plans are for this space. The best part about this park is the organic farmers market every Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday from 7am-12hr.
