Tahsin Engin Gökten: A peaceful park for relaxing and enjoying outdoor sports activities. The park features two small lakes, large trees, and if you’re lucky, you’ll spot some charming wildlife. There’s also a restaurant where you can savor delicious local cuisine.
Michael McArthur: There is a nice climb through the forest to an amazing overlook of the city. It takes about an hour at a casual pace but it's quite steep in places. The main path is a narrow asphalt road but there are parallel first trails up as well. Absolutely stunning views.
Paula Zeltiņa: Nice and free state park. Apparently you can see toucans, monkeys, and capybaras (we didn’t). They sell fresh coconuts by the entrance and there is more food/fruit for sale in the park. You can also rent bikes. This park leads to a larger national park for more hiking and jungle trails (follow signs for Cantareira, it costs R$50 to enter).
Lucas Medina: Free entry. Running tracks and vendors inside selling snacks and coconut water. Free body weight exercise equipment. There is a police station inside the park and lots of security to make visitors feel safe. Really good flora and fauna a big lake and nice places to take pics.
Zihan Cai: Fantastic park with lots of birds and fish. You can walk to the Cantereira forest park, although after entering you will have to pay a fee
