Augusta - Mayor Bruno Covas Park

Dr.T G: The best park in this Centro area. There are security guards, benches to sit, a children's playground, a dog park, exercise equipment, and public restrooms. People picnic on the lawn and sun bathe in the center - men in Speedos and women in bikinis. There's a paved walking path around the center, and a shaded walking trail on the outer half perimeter. On weekends, only one entrance is open on Rua Caio Prado. Sadly, people smoke 🚬 freely, so that's a bummer.

Sabrina Lucci: Could do with a small kiosk for chilled drinks but otherwise best city park around this downtown SP: newly reopened, it has a space for your small 4 legged friends ( cachodromo), a playground and even an open theatre. Bonus super clean.

Rob Greeley: This is a really nice park currently called Augusta Park, that has areas for families, an area to walk exercise your dogs, and to lay in the sun and soak up the sun. It's pretty crowded on weekends,and there is frequently some type of live entertainment on weekends also. There are plenty of clean bathrooms near the stairs.

Leonard: Small park that is mostly plane. There is a very tiny hill and a small area with large rock seats like at a stadium but that's it.

Julia Jones: My favorite park in São Paulo. Centrally located and east access. Great for sunbathing (don’t be shy, locals wear swimsuits!), bringing kids, and picnics! Note that no glass bottles are allowed.
