Nadine Marques: Great exposition on biodiversity. There are water fountains and accessible bathroom areas. You can't bring bags/purses, food/drinks, but there is a locker to keep your belongings. It's very interesting and right besides a park, the exhibition area isn't so big, so it can take 1h30min tops. A lovely weekend date or activity!
Ceci Fernandes: Nice and simple free entrance museum that shows, among other many animals, Amazon's giant sloth and dinosaurs that used to live in this part of the world. It is somewhat loud because, as expected, there are a lot of children and they can get really excited with the animals on display. This looks like a great option to entertain kids for an hour or so!
Andres Fairbanks: Free entry. If you like animals it's an amazing place, it's fairly small but it's packed with taxidermic models of hundreds of animals as well as some recreated skeletons of a few dinosaurs / prehistoric mammals. Lots of information (mostly in Portuguese) available alongside the models. When I went they had an electric fish exhibit with live eels in a tank.
K Shah: Great opportunity to see real life specimens of various animals! It does not take very long and it's free
Angela Stone: This is an excellent museum. It's small, but it has a lot in a small space, and it's free! All the descriptions are in Portuguese, but they have the names in both Portuguese and English! Definitely worth going to, and the park just down the street.
