Isaias Torres: I really enjoyed my visit here. Seeing museums that were once rich people’s homes has become one of my go to activities on my trips. Entry was free when I visited on a Wednesday (it doesn’t seem like there is a fee normally). I really love the sculpture museum across the street so you can spend an hour or two between these two places.

Chlochlo: Before reviewing the museum, it was not nice there was any information about unexpected closing on their website. The day I visited, it was simply a memo attached to the door of the museum… it was very disappointing. I had to come back the next week.. Fortunately, the museum visit was very satisfied and it was enough to make me feel better. Ema Gordon Klabin was the second daughter of the Lithuanian immigrants Fanny and Hessel Klabin. Her father was a successful industrialist in Brazil. As a heiress of the family and her passion for the art. She collected so many art works and she dedicated herself to cultural activities. After the tragic fire which destroyed almost the entire collection of the Rio de Janeiro Museum of Modern Art in 1978, she decided, as her sister, to create a foundation with the purpose of keeping the collection together and turning her house into a museum open to public visitation after her death. It is truly remarkable how beautiful the house itself and all the collections.

Alexis Goncalves: Casa Museu Ema Klabin in Jardim Europa is a hidden gem in São Paulo, offering a unique glimpse into the rich cultural heritage and personal history of Ema Klabin. Nestled in a tranquil garden, this museum houses an impressive collection of art and artifacts spanning 4,000 years, including works from Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The house itself is a beautifully preserved example of 20th-century architecture, providing a perfect backdrop for the diverse artworks. Each room is meticulously arranged, reflecting Ema's personal tastes and her passion for art and culture. The guided tours are enlightening, often led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides who bring the stories behind the artifacts to life. Casa Museu Ema Klabin is a must-visit for art lovers and history buffs alike, offering a quiet, reflective experience away from the bustling city.

Victor Abadio: Wonderful experience to visit this woman's house (that she lived in for 33 years). There's a video telling the history of the place (and hers) in one of the rooms. The garden is one of the highlights of the visit, with the house overlooking it. Be sure to check it out when visiting the adjacent MIS or when passing by the area. An hour is enough to see everything and appreciate the place. Also, it's free on Saturdays!
