Chiu Amy: One of the most active place in Sao Paulo. Amazing place for tourist. But must pay attention for your personal belongings.
Maddog (UKwonderboy): A bit more of a mine field than the Municipal Market but you can find some incredible food and drink around this area. Tons of people though, very claustrophobic and be careful with your belongings. Well worth coming to this part of town in the day (wouldn't recommend coming at night).
Leandro Guimarães: Insane place but can be fun, just go when you are free and not in rush, plenty of shops and boxes where you can find everything, most things are fake, but many as good as original, very popular place for Brazilians who like to shop and resellers!
Walter Bell: A true labyrinth... total caps, but worth checking out the stalls. Thousands of different items ranging from shoes to clothes to electronics. Most are cheap knockoffs but give it a try.
Ali Allahyarzadeh: It is the biggest market in Latin America and you can almost all you need. Very long street from one side of são Paulo to other side.Unlike what people say, everything is not necessary cheaper than of the rest of city. Very crowded and need to take very much time to find your product. Time is money.
