רבוטה פציינט: I never felt so unwelcome and unwanted in a place. I arrived a bit earlier than my check in (8 am) time and I knew I might not get my room as check in is later, which is completely fine, I arrived from a long night bus and just wanted to sit down there on the couch and be on my phone, and the staff told me I can’t stay at the hostel until check in, like not even in the common area to sit down(it was freezing out and they wanted me to wait outside of the hostel, not to mention it’s unsafe) I thought he was kidding as I have a reservation and all, and I asked again, and he said and I quote: “you are taking too much space for the other guests” I was shocked and wanted to cancel and of course they didn’t allow it because they wanted the money, but I decided to leave anyway. Also, they charge money to leave your luggage there, so if you are planning on going there, and need to leave your luggage for a few hours, know that you will be charged. Also, breakfast looked awful, just some juice and cookies. Anyway, definitely DO NOT recommend. Please go to any other place

Seth B: The first thing was they had a bed available and wouldn't let me check in early (off season). Just a pet peeve as it wastes my valuable time. But after dealing with the bed bug situation, I had to write a review. Sent video evidence to the number provided, but they didn't even offer to reimburse for my one night...

Shinyi Lin: If I can give minus 10 stars I would . A dorm room I stayed at was full of bed bugs , staff was informed and so did the owner , but no apology whatsoever , they didn't even offered a refund, I have to demand it . The staff was very rude like I should not be asking for a refund . I have a tour I need to go right next morning before I can find another place to move to and they won't even let me to leave my bag at the storage area. And want to charge me if I want to put in a secured locker. Reception during the day doesn't speak English, all the guests are Brazilian not travellers, no hostel atmosphere at all. The worest hostel experience I have ever had. DO NOT BOOK this place

Alwyne Avinash: Soul Hostel is great place with friendly hosts. They are happy to help you incase if you need anything. Its proximity to Avenida Paulista makes it perfect. There's quick access to metro and bus. The facilities are good and complementary breakfast provided is good. The size of bathrooms is small, but who cares, it's a different experience all together

Lucas Peixoto Pinheiro da Silva: Very good service and good cost-benefit. Well located. Only problem I found was that the bedroom where I slept was no good for my allergies! It didn’t get enough sunshine and natural air. That may be a problem for those who are allergic like me.
