Hostel Liberdade

Josefin: I recently stayed at this hostel, centrally located in Liberdade and near the metro. Unfortunately that is where my good experience ends. 1. The entrance is just a large flight of stairs, making it inaccessible for wheelchairs and so on. You also have to open the door with an electronic button down by the door, but this button did not function during our stay, making it impossible to exit the hostel alone without anyone pushing the extra button at the top of the stairs. 2. Our appointed room had a non-functional mini fridge, and the bed was dirty and had stains. (On a positive note, the air conditioning and TV were working well) 3. The hostel had two bathrooms; one spacious, the other cramped, both very dirty. 4. The kitchen was consistently dirty, emitting unpleasant odors. 5. Very limited breakfast, if any at all. Consider this hostel for a single or very few nights if no alternatives are available.

Santiago Bulacio: If you are looking to feel like Home, look no further. Super warm enviroment, very clean, and the matress is very comfortable. I have never felt this vibe in a hostel. The highlight of the place is the host, Robson. Besides being a great cook, he looks after everybody and makes sure you are having a great time. I really recommend this place to everyone!

Nils Petersen: Very mediocre. Staff is very uninterested, rooms and facilities are somewhat clean. Location is okay. Zero vibes. Ponus minus points, after check out we left our bags there for the day because we had a nightbus, in the evening we chilled at the hostel for 2 hours and they wanted to charge us for that😂 after discussions we didn't have to but left a bad aftertaste. Wouldn't recommend this place unless everything else is fully booked.
