David Mattos: That’s one of the most famous sights of Itu. It’s incredible to see how big it is and at the same time makes us realise that not long ago we all used to make phone calls on one like that.
D B: Don't arrive before 9 am because not a single shop will be open. I suggest arriving after 9:30 am by that time all of the souvenir shops should be open. The square where the giant phonebooth is located is charming but be alert because there are pickpocket scoundrels all about the place, if you pay attention you will be able to spot them easily. There is plenty of free Parking in the street and there are two parking lots directly at the plaza. This location is good for a few photos and some souvenir shopping but that's about all there is to do here. And one final detail, all of the souvenir shops have roughly 95% the same stuff so don't waste your time going to all of them because you might be disappointed like we were.
Ketter Rogerio: Since childhood, I have been listening stories about Itu and giant objects. My daughter loved the visit, but it seems an arrive-take a picture-go home kind of visit.
Pamela Bautista: It's great for photos, the stop light is cuter, but there's nothing else other than souvenir shops.
