Maria McCabe: I had just returned from Fatima in Portugal and I must say, this basilica is far more beautiful. I attended the 11:00 mass. I was pleasantly pleased to find the missal contained the Latin as well as Portuguese mass and the priest did the consecration in Latin as well! The choir sang beautifully and this church was packed with worshipers. I was so pleased with the entire mass. After mass, in the monastery next door, the priests were selling freshly baked bread, which was available for purchase and was even warm from the oven. It is a 30-minute car ride from Moema in São Paulo but I am considering making this my weekly Sunday Mass church. A beautiful, holy experience.
