Celso Shimomura: Nice view of the surroundings. Outdoor science exhibits are very interesting. Some optical scopes on height-adjustable mounts are available, but very low powered and not very well kept. Possible to see all the way to Castelo neighbourhood; Shopping Galleria; Sambaíba; Cidade Universitária II and Dalbem Barão Geraldo - with a proper, good quality scope. On-site parking is all but non-existent (5 spots), so street parking is the only option if the place is even minimally busy. Ample lawn surrounding the weather station.

cassio silva: If you are interested in science and new discoveries, you should visit the Exploratory Museum here in Campinas. An environment where minds already formed by years of Scientific Studies coexist with the developing minds of children. Come visit!

Ricardo OCHOA RIVEIRO: Interesting place with some observatory and physics exhibition at an outside deck. Sadly, the explanation for each exhibited element is very weak or, simply, doesn’t exist. No tickets in advance, access it’s totally free.

Jonathan Reule: It could be better due to lack of infrastructure: it's missing a few things regarding science and more attractive agenda. It's a loud part of town and we can see all Barão Geraldo's sight
