Dani: I stopped by this museum after I did the hike at mirante Boa Vista. Small museum but it’s free and it gives you the history of the coast of Brazil especially the coast of Joinville where the indigenous people used to live before the arrival of the colonizers. Very educational. If you like history, then this is the place for you.
Harry Curtis: Fascinating exhibition of Native Brazilian artefacts, combined with an introduction to the ‘sambaqui,’ for those unfamiliar. Free entry and parking. Well worth a visit. EDIT: Sambaquis in English are known as middens.
