Leslie Brashear: I enjoyed a fantastic lunch solo on the deck, right next to the lake. It was beautiful, the food was amazing, the service was friendly and helpful. I was happy to finally try moqueca without paying extra for a solo diner. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back!
Chris Laub: Went here after hiking the Costa da Lagoa trail with some friends (~75 minute walk). Was a hot day and being able to jump in the lake and swim around was much needed after the hike. The shrimp milanesa appetizer was amazing. Like so good I would hike the 75 minute trail just to eat it again! We had 8 people so we split a couple main dishes, all of which had fried or grilled fish with lettuce and tomato salad, rice and beans, and french fries. Was good but nothing special (this is a very traditional plate here in Brazil, and aside from the fish, it's not meant to be super gourmet or classy). Beers were affordable as well. Will 100% go back!
Vitoria Schmitt: Staff was friendly and helpful, owner was there to welcome and seat everybody to a table and explain the menu. Fresh delicious seafood was served and they also have vegetarian/vegan options. There are nearby hiking trails, small church and gorgeous views all along! Boat tickets to get to the restaurant are R$20 roundtrip leaving from Trapiche do Rio Vermelho.
Kay van den Bosch: Great atmosphere on the side of the water. You have to reach it by boat, behind it there's a small hike up to the waterfall. The food was very tasty, even though we don't like seafood the chicken dish was very well made and with delicious sides.
