Peter Walmsley: BEAUTIFUL lake. You can choose to be as close to or far away from the screaming kids bit as you want to. Water never more than 1.5 metres deep in the first 100-150m from the shore and you have to wade quite far too to get to waist deep. PERFECT for kids. Restaurant at the entrance, if you want it and maybe 2-3 minutes from the shoreline. Paddle boats and paddle surfboards to hire from the beach. If you want to get totally away from the crowds it's only a 5-10 minute walk around the sides of the lake and there are trails to follow too if you are feeling adventurous. I swam right across the corner of the lake and I could touch the bottom almost all of the way. DEFINITELY worth an afternoon or whole day visit.

David Betts: Instead of taking us to the municipal park, Google maps took us down a one track dirt road to a place on the Lagoa. Prove to be a good experience. Few people, not much beach, but quiet, like having the Lagoa to yourself. Hard to find.

Elton Maurer: One of the greatest landmarks in 'Floripa' city. The warm waters of the lake are cozy for swimming, relaxation and kayaking. You certainly will love going for a hike which the path is close to a fantastic preservation program of otters. There is a restaurant with typical food and near the lake there are spaces for barbecuing. Enjoy and love it!
