Alan Myers: A great little hostel with an amazing atmosphere nestled in the hills of Barra De Lagoa. The staff are fantastic and both dogs incredibly friendly. The “trail” to the hostel is uphill and a challenge with heavy bags but it is so worth it. Planned to stay three nights - stayed for 10!

Myriam: The view is SPECTACULAR (my pictures don't do it justice) and you can even enjoy it while chilling in one of two hammocks. Bento is a sweetheart, and Maya is a firecracker! 😄 The staff was really great and the guests were really fun to chat and go hiking with. I vhose this hostel vecause it was close to a really pretty hike (trilha boa vista) and what I was met with was the most beautiful hostel, in the most amazing neighbourhood. I loved all of it! There are surfers at all times of the day at the praia de Barra da Lagoa, they're mesmerizing to watch :) The only downside is that Floripa can be really cold in october, which I didn't expect but Bento lent me a sweater. Also, there's only a small kitchen with one stovetop, so it might be a little difficult to make food if all the beds are filled, because without having specifically counted, I'd say there's space for at least 14 people in the main room and space for another 6-8 people in the secondary smaller room. But I'm not sure all those beds ever get filled, it's just a thought I had while cooking! Also, all thr basic cooking necessities are provided (oil, salt, sugar, spices), so you don't have to buy them :)

Andrea Zen: MAGNIFIQUE ! I staid a week at Hostel do Morro and even though I had no notion of neither Portuguese nor Spanish (I know, Maia, I will learn!!!) I felt part of a family! The place is on top of Barra da Lagoa, so the view is amazing. The Hostel in itself is a paradise: super clean, super calm, and facilities are 100% what you expect (a very friendly kitchen, wifi, super clean bathrooms). The owners are here to share, help and sometimes dance with you :) I left Hostel do Morro with a very heavy heart but with strong memories, friends from everywhere and the assurance that I will come back ❤️

Mick Test: Great views, great people and one of the most passionate project I've seen in a while. The whole house is recycled, making it simply beautiful. Recommended that you come with a backpack, not a common square luggage, since as it name says, it's on the Morro.

Louis JS: The most genuine, beautiful, kind people live here. My stay was welcoming open, like being part of a loving family. If you want to stay in a natural, stunning, fun hostel, I wholesomely reccomend Hostel do Morro!! Obrigado Amigos
