O Parque Vila Germânica é um dos maiores espaços públicos para eventos do Brasil. Com mais de 40.000 mil metros quadrados, é o palco da maior festa alemã das Américas, a Oktoberfest Blumenau. Além disso, durante o ano todo recebe eventos como o Sommer Festival, Festival Brasileiro da Cerveja, Feira Brasileira da Cerveja, Concurso Brasileiro da Cerveja, Páscoa em Blumenau e Natal em Blumenau.

Flo: We went here on a regular weekday and it was raining. Therefore it was very empty. For me as a German, it was very funny to see what people consider to be typical German. There’s a lot of souvenir shops here with all kinds of stuff. And even if I think most of the stuff you can buy there has absolutely nothing to do with the real Germany, it was interesting to see for me.
Kleber Schreiber: Even parking is a pain in where you can image, this is a nice place to spend time, enjoy good food and very good beer. To park on street you need to be very patient to use the payment system. There are people to make tickets if you don't pay, but they can not charge you. Private park around cost legs and arms. So, come by uber.
JJ Hoffman: A total must stop on your trip to Blumenau. So many great shops, lots of trinkets and tourist fair. There is an incredible chocolate shop inside where i bought the best pao de meil i have ever eaten. A few pubs and i hear the oktoberfest here is the best. Some of the pubs there had locals or tourists singing ole german songs, everyone drinking merrily, very cool. As a german canadian visiting the area, it was an awesome stop in.
