David Brew: A popular park alongside the river, with plenty of visitors at the weekends and summer evenings. I would rate it higher but, like so many parks here, it lacks policing so it's not a place you'd let your young daughter go to alone. That said, it's a great place to watch the sun set.

Robson Oliveira Dos Santos: If you want to know more about the culture of Rio Grande do Sul, you should definitely come here in September, in the week of the 20th, in any year. It is a special week, when the "Gaúchos", how the Brazilian southern cowboys are called, celebrate their culture. I'm pretty sure you will enjoy our famous tea "Chimarrão", and our even more famous BBQ "Churrasco".
