Petra (Pitch): Sept.25: this was one of the many free places we visited in the Lapa area. Great historic building in middle of the Lapa area, unfortunately only seen from the outside. @time of arrival they were preparing an event. There are many bars, restaurants & great impressive other buildings nearby.

Débora Anzai: One of the first movie theater at Cinelandia Square which unfortunately is overlooked. This cinema and theater dates back to late 20's and the atmosphere is still authentic. I watched a horror movie here on Halloween night and since the theater is rustic it created this great environment. You can tell they really try hard to preserve this amazing era: they still have their popcorn cart and sometimes they have an usher to show you your seat (dressed the same way they used to when the cinema first opened and a little flashlight to guide the way). Hanike T.: A beautiful and very traditional theater / cinema that has been around for many decades. The sound and architecture of the building are fantastic, remainders of Odeon's glorious imperial court days! Located in Cinelandia, a place that got its name for being the audiovisual center of Rio in the past with many theaters, it's certainly worth a visit. Its technology has been since upgraded for modern day theaters standard, but the charm is still there. They have great prices too and a club feature where every 9 movies watched, the 10th is free.

Tijana Isailovic: One of the oldest movie theaters in Rio, a please to visit at Cinelândia square, in Rio downtown. They ah é a Starbucks next door and a restaurant Amarelinho nearby, back door leads to Rival and Rivalzinho. Always something to do there

Arthur Protasio: A historic two-story movie theater in the Cinelândia region which was renovated some years ago. The venue usually hosts special events and the seats are comfortable.
