Petra (Pitch): Sept.25: On the way to Sugarloaf Mountain we passed by the Museo de Cieñcias da Terra, we weren't able to visit inside due to time restrictions. We just took some nice pictures. There was also a really nice smelling & start to bloom tree, the scent was magnificent.
Brian “CoFii” Adams: Great piece of history! A a Rio must see for the geological experience. Pro: - free - incredible mineral and rock exposition - easy 1 hour time killer - great foto ops Con: - old building that needs renovation Overall it was an incredible experience small with tons packed in!
Josiah Wadsack: Free museum, but very little on display. Highlights: one giant sloth fossil, one beautiful staircase, and a large gallery filled with rocks and mineral samples. Apparently they have a renovation planned, so perhaps in the next 5-10 years it will be expanded. Not worth a visit unless already in the area.
Luciana Côrtes: Small but for those who like geology I think it's interesting to go to get to know each other a little more.
Olly Esse: The entrance was free, so everyone on the budget - you know where to go. Very interesting, if you're into reiki, healing proprieties of stones. Family friendly. Great experience.
