Petra (Pitch): Sept.25: we wanted to get some rest & took seats @wall overlooking the marina with wonderful views of the boats & sailing ships. There were nicely smelling & already in bloom several trees & bushes around & even a few benches underneath trees. Unfortunately we didn't have access to get into the harbor ourselves, it was separated with a fence & surveillanced gateway.
Big G: Went to a dance party here (BLK) - great location and very safe. Getting an uber to and from Copacabana was easy (once we figured out the name of the venue)
ITZZEES Editing hacks: The ship cruise at Marina da Gloria was an extraordinary experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city. It offers a perfect blend of relaxation, sightseeing, and entertainment, making it a must-do activity in Rio. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning traveler, this cruise provides a unique and memorable way to experience the beauty of Rio de Janeiro.
Irene Eng: A beautiful and well maintained pier in the Glória neighborhood. It has three restaurants: Bota, Kitchen, a fusion and an Argentina Corrientes 348, but non of them are on the water. Maybe their sensibility is different from ours. We've dinner at Bota at around 6pm: empty restaurant, large portion, good service. The couple of tables are all drinkers.
Franco De Gunzburg: Posh clean and safe city center Marina and yacht club. Great atmosphere with excellent views of the city. Delicious restaurants and perfect place for a boat tour rental and yacht sales. This Marina has many wonderful events as well.
