Nikolaus: Great place to see art, mainly from northeastern Brazil. The team also makes sure to explain the background of the artists and their work, so you really get to know the context and culture. Also, you can buy all the pieces at quite affordable prices. Highly recommend going to this gem of a gallery!

René: Awesome gallery where they represent different artists. Felipe is a smart and enthusiastic guy who loves to tell you the background stories of the art in his gallery. I’m a sucker for the Pernambuco style but there is plenty: paintings, sculptures in clay and wood, graphic etchings. It’s all for sale. Felipe has over ten years of experience with shipping, so you can have the larger and heavier items delivered in one piece to your doorstep anywhere in the world. Check opening hours and ring the bell (pull the gate’s string) so he can open the door.

Nemanja Spasojevic: Hands down best gallery of brasilian folk/pop art. Really great collection with diverse pieaces, something for everyones taste and pocket. Definite must visit when in Rio !!! Last but not least amazing staff took plenty of time to educate us on origin, cultural context and artists of each artifact!!!
