Roberto Ferraris: We went with a group of friends of seven and the place have a good atmosphere but it was almost empty. Maybe we arrived at the wrong time. There were only five people apart from us. The music was very good anyway and the drinks also pretty good selection. Maybe on my next visit to Rio will come back and try again on another hour.

Tony Hernandez: So we have been coming here 3 nights in a row because the vibe was okay but we enjoyed the music but it was getting worst and worst everyday. The last day the door guy was so rude that only because my partner wanted to go in I would have left but there was no more than 10 people the 3 nights we came, so for the door guy be so mean didn’t make sense. Will NEVER come here again and will not be recommending this place to friends like I did. Do NOT believe social media, no one comes here. It’s ashamed because music is good but the vibe is so off that I hated they scammed us to add $100R each on the card before entering. The bartender Christian was really nice though

Leonard: Awesome ambiance. I went on a night with special technohouse DJs and they were amazing. Smaller crowd by it was good because it isn't a large space and it was hot with even a few people so I'm sure it would've been even worse with more people.

Mpho Marothi: TAU Bar is great - a cool place to chill, party and have a blast with fellow like minded people! I would like to recognise specifically our host Miguel who is SO amazing! He is great in making everyone feel welcomed and at home especially because he speaks English - very important for international English speaking tourists. The music, DJs, drinks selection and the crowd are something to look forward to. Well done team TAU (btw translates to Lion from where I come from!)

Dorin: 2 stars only because the DJ and the music is good. Otherwise no party/dance atmosphere at all. All in all, definitely not worth going, it’s a touristic place (no locals inside) and they scam you with the drink cards. Before ordering at the bar you need to charge the card they give you. !!! PLEASE do not charge more than the price of the drink you want to drink, otherwise when you want to order more, they will tell you there is no credit left. If you need another drink, then just load again the card with the value of that drink. There are definitely much better party places in Rio, so if possible, avoid this scam place!
