Elias Nogueira: Carioca da Gema is a must-visit spot for anyone who wants to experience true samba. The food and drinks are excellent, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are genuinely attentive. On my most recent visit, I had the pleasure of being there during the venue’s 25th anniversary celebration. It was a truly special moment that made the night unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to everyone. If you’d prefer not to stand, I suggest purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee a table. Congratulations to Carioca da Gema for keeping the authentic samba scene alive and thriving!

Alex Kluger: Simply amazing experience. The band the servers the crowd- everyone had a very warm and inviting attitude. As a jazz fan to me this felt like the village vanguard of samba. Crowd was dancing together and singing along while music played well past midnight. Drinks were delicious as well I recommended the caipirinha

matt smith: Came on a whim, paid a cover which we normally don't like to do, but worth every penny. Cheaper beers on Thursdays make it much easier, food was reasonably priced, quick and tasty. Staff are friendly, space is limited so arrive early if you can.

Victoria Herrera: Very nice place, the music was excellent. There was a samba group with great vibes. The service needs improvement and the system to pay and exit the place is a bit complicated.
