Larry LaRose: Spectacular setting. Mountains, ocean and green forests. The drive on Joa to get there is amazing too! When you are looking for a time-out from the grind, park here and just enjoy the amazing vistas.
Enrico Perocco: Beautiful lookout. It is possible to see São Conrado, the sea and a bit of the bike path over the Bandeirantes road. You can get there by car or bicycle, which is very worthwhile on sunny days or at sunrise.
Michael Ochoa: Beautiful views at Mirante do Joá. Just pull right up and park on the hillside. Walk right up to look out point and be prepared to be awe struck. Photos do no justice. The sights and sounds definitely make it a must see whenever I am in Rio.
Andrew Stevenson: Nice viewpoint, probably not worth making a special trip but was a good place to stop while on a bike ride 😁
