Dilek Unal: I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The location by the river was absolutely stunning, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Whether relaxing by the water or enjoying the fresh air from the terrace, it felt like the perfect escape. The hostel itself was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The pool was a major highlight, perfect for cooling off and socializing with other travelers. The shared areas were spacious, stylish, and welcoming, making it easy to meet new people or just unwind with a book. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help with recommendations. The combination of a great location, excellent facilities, and a laid-back vibe made this one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing yet social experience!

Kate Conlon-Murphy: 10/10. Eric + staff are so friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. The boat tour was amazing and the captain Gabriel was lovely. The private room we stayed in felt like home and so did the rest of the space. Perfect location. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The best hostel I have ever stayed in. I would definitely recommend and wish to return soon! Thank you, Kate and Josh.

Tania Just: Very cute and friendly pousada by the river. Yummy breakfast plus coffee and cake to enjoy throughout the day. Highly recommend booking the boat tour with Gabriel!! A very kind and welcoming person that will show you the best of Paraty’s beauty only be accessible by boat. Hope i can return one day

James Wernicke Sr.: One of the best hostels I have stayed at. The rooms are well decked out in granite and the general building is elegant. The owners were very helpful in correcting a booking mistake. The town of Paraty was great. It is located on the canal and has a very nice pool for a quick dip. I could easily spend a week here next year. My only comment is that they leave the hall light on and there is no blackout curtain. Bring your own blackout blindfolds.

Liza “LizaaroundtheworldEE” Martins: This is the best place to stay in Paraty. It’s right on the river, from where leaves everyday a boat trip to the islands (must do). Swimming pool with river view. Wonderful breakfast with river view. The staff is awesome. Best location. Everything it’s clean and you have everything you need to a comfortable stay. Towels, soap, blanket. Honestly, having been in so many places in the world I believe this is one of the bests I stayed.
