J Andrade: It's a beautiful place to go, you can swim, make a great weekend to get together with friends or family. Really beautiful views and places to explore. You can see waterfalls, hiking in trails. The road to get there is a little rough, so better go in dry season. Don't forget to take with you food and watet, there isn't a place there where you can buy. I suggest you to buy inPassos or Sao Joao Batista do Gloria. Don't forget mosquitoes repellent, they're present there. I highly recommended experience to be connected with the nature. Paid parking ids available.

Paul Davis: Massive park with various entrances often hours drives apart. We entered via Sao Roque. The road to the park entrance is being paved, they seem to have done more than half in October 2025. Just a few bumpy sections to the gate but nothing most cars can't manage. It was dry when we went, might be more slippy following rain. Free to enter. We parked at entrance. There are maps, place to fill your water (it was a bit brown, I am hoping due to local minerals, drank it and no ill effects). Also small snack bar. We just went on short easy trail from the gate. Beautiful changing landscapes with mirante with great view. Stunted trees in the rocks, looks like a skillful garden design. Little picturesque waterfall on the way back and lots of wild flowers and birds. Small dense section of trees with bridge over river. Beautiful place. We did not go further into the park as was already afternoon and I am not sure how our car would have coped with the roads. We stopped at the private waterfalls off the road on the right a couple of kms before the park on the way up (R$40!). Steep access road but is paved so fine. The higher waterfall offered a low-medium walk up the hill and through the trees. Had a swim in the pool there, very nice. You can probably skip the lower ones, we were water-falled out by then and they are pleasant but nothing special.

Jorim Delaere: Fun national park if you are in the neighbourhood, but I wouldn’t specifically travel to this one. Be prepared for a long bumby road that leads to some cool views and waterfalls.
