Genesi Castro: Central point of Belo Horizonte (minha querida BH). Very crowded. You have to be careful with the local traffic and millions of people trying to sell everything to you like mobile phones., mobile covers and many other "services". You have to be careful as you can also be robbed so especial attention to your belongings as you might be in every big city in Brazil. All in all a nice place.

Johny Presley: I would say that the obelisc in this square is not so interesting. It is small and it is located in the middle of the avenues. So, it's not a good idea to take pics with it. In on hand I can say the September Seven Square have many cops around, so it is well policed. Besides that, you have some bars around to eat or drink something, but they are far to be fancy. It is frequented by all kind of people of the city. As many others downtowns you can see some people asking money, doing magic, praying and so on.
