Henry E. Hall: A calm within today's bustling city is hard to find. But Parque Moscoso more than adequately provides that solace and has done so for the last century. As a bonus it's nestled among many examples of early 1900's architecture that beckon a time of grace & civility. Walk the Park's perimeter and the surrounding neighborhood amplifies the experience. The Park's layout/design is superior in creating gathering points or intersections for thru-pedestrian visits, events & while other areas offer creative, lush, varied noise-absorbing landscaping for a respite from normal urban activity. Board game players (checkers, dominoes, cards) are rewarded with ample space, while children's play areas & fitness equipment are also plentiful in this studiously planned, relaxing open-space. There's an open patio restaurant that attracts workers at lunchtime along with several food/beverage vendors about. The water pools wind their way creating seating islands connected by artfully tree-limbed footbridges to give the park further sensory depth in an ideal Park experience.

Cesar Filho: It's the most traditional park in town. Had it's glorious time 40 years ago. Today needs more attention from public authorities but still holds its charm.
