Dr.T G: It was raining the day I went, and the museum was hot and smelled of mildew and rotten eggs. The carpets need cleaning or replacing. It's also too spacious for the exhibits. The gentleman at the front counter were very friendly and cordial.
fluoelf: Beautiful building and interesting expositions found inside. It's worth a walk and a visit if you are around. Free of charge.
the Monica Gomes (monitattoo): Beautiful inside and outside. The building is used for projections sometimes. So check out their website. The exhibitions are always changing. But it's a must see no matter what. It's usually free admission.
Mike: The building is amazing, but there were only a couple of small temporary exhibitions about artists I’d never heard of. Most of the space was just empty.
Maria Alice Keller: Just across the road from the cathedral, added much later to the Eixo Monumental. There was an exhibition of photographs from the 70s that I found very interesting.
