Sebastian: The hostel is very clean, quiet, the kitchen is well stocked! The beds are very comfortable and the curtains give you privacy! The staff is super friendly and helped me a lot with my problems! And it has a great price-performance ratio and the area is also very quiet! For me the best hostel in Brazil!

Jonathon Davey: I have never seen a business with 100% 5/5 reviews on Google. You should be very suspicious and I'm even more astounded that any honest moderate or negative reviews have somehow been removed... I stayed here for 3 nights and was very surprised to find virtually no guests for somewhere so "well rated". Firstly, the location is far, though this is no fault of the property as such, though when you account for the €10 price tag of a shared 8 bed dormitory for a property situated 1 hour via metro from the centre and with no included breakfast, you expect better standards. A few reviews I read via platforms that weren't praiseful are validated by my own experience which gives you an idea of the mentality of the management. There is no soap anywhere....no soap in the 4 toilets in 2024. Wow. It gets worse, and this last factor for me is the most telling of the type of individuals that run this place. It's quite a spacious place, lots of chill out spots with few guests. Check-out was at a comfortable 12:00 which I appreciate, however, if you have a flight or other transport connection in the afternoon or evening, you're not allowed to stay or even leave a bag unless you pay 15 real! I mean seriously? How grotesque is that? I really didn't like the vibe at all. Aesthetically nice, but operated by a polar opposite. There is no way that the online rating is justified. Absolutely no way.
