There are plenty of shops with handcrafted souvenirs, such as bracelets, necklaces, hats, paintings, musical instruments, and more. You can also find many restaurants and cafes here, where traditional dishes are served. This is also the place where various parades with live music, dancing, and acrobatics take place.
Anastasia Zarina: Amazing place, this is the centre of Salvador. Rich of story, culture and colors! The main square is the one with the fountain in the middle but there is another one with a lot of stands where you can find local food, clothes, souvenirs and so on!
Melike Akdoğan: It is a very beautiful and turistic places. If you practicing capoeira you can feel the culture of capoeira in Salvador
Howe: The historical city center is the highlight of Salvador. Grab a drink or acai bowl and just hang out to the music flowing through the streets all day and night. It's a vibe like no other. Uplifting and community centric. Just fyi - for security don't wander too far away from the main tourist center.
