Rodrigo Gonzalez: Jorge Amado wrote several Brazilian stories. It was good to visit the place where some of them might have been written .
Fábio Henrique Bittes Terra: The place seems forgotten by the local administration. It’s closed because of COVID but regardless of that it looks so forgotten. Painting got old, there are plants growing in the balconies, the place is forgotten. It proves the Brazilian tradition of destroying its history. Jorge Amado was one of Brazil’s greatest writers, his memory must be preserved, though the local administration of Ilheus seems to be doing that it can to destroy Jorge Amado’s memory.
Agata Jemioła: Definitely worth visiting but don't get too excited - the exhibition is quite poor. It could be sooo much better if well administrated. Also, only cash accepted for the tickets.
