V B: Beautiful beach. Just too many people with very big speakers with loud music. Looks like everyone loves very loud music in the surroundings too. I would suggest for a quick visit because it's a wonderful beach but I would go somewhere else for a more quiet place.

Antoine Assaad: It is recommended to take a blabla from Recife! Returning will be difficult unless you choose rides with at least 2 confirmed passengers. I had my reservation canceled at least 6 times. I stayed a night in maragogi and spent an afternoon in porto galinhas. Both cities have cheap hostel rates. There are small vans that go to the further beaches, and they pass very often (5 to 7 reais). I suggest to stop to the first beach (grande or antonin) and working your way to the center.

Papipupenta: Clear blue beach. Amazing color sea, very warm water, and calm wave. If you visit Maragogi, here is one of best option to go. It is close to Barra Grande beach, you can go two place at the same time.
